The “Heaven On Earth” concert
![]() Welcome to the "Heaven On Earth" concert, a musical experience by the musician Niko Levy. Niko Levy is a musician who has been composing and playing classical music for many years. Niko settled in Hararit in 1983. Inspired by the magnificent surroundings of Hararit and by the tranquillity created by the Transcendental Meditation technique practiced by its inhabitants, Niko Levy began creating a new type of music combining these two elements: Nature as represented in his music by sounds he records (birds, streams, rain, thunder, etc.). Meditation, tranquillity and silence as represented by original "cosmic sounds". Niko also combines ethnic motifs, some kinds of flutes, clarinet, African xylophone, Bulgarian bagpipe, percussion, synthesizers and samplers. These components enable him to recreate the flow of nature and its harmony, bringing the listener closer to his own inner private harmony. This unique combination creates an unusual musical experience that "enters the soul and works well on all senses". Some parts of the music are peaceful and quiet while others are boisterous and full of surprises. The common element: the music is interesting and awakens the imagination. An unusual music requires an unusual mode of listening that will enable you to experience music in a different way. For this reason you take off your shoes at the entrance, you lie down on mattresses or pillows and close your eyes while listening to the music. The atmosphere in the hall (the candles light, the aromatic oils fragrances) is designed also to help you relax and enjoy the music in this special way. |
